AUDIO SETUP GUIDE - Troubleshoot & FIX ALL Sound Related Issues in KODI or XBMC by Yourself

BEFORE STARTING THIS TUTORIAL CHECKOUT a YOUTUBE VIDEO of our AMAZING NINJA TV BOXES in ACTION!


1. Load your Ninja Extreme Box up and go here SYSTEM 
Select SYSTEM

2. GOTO Settings (if the menu just pops up goto System(see photo 2a)
Select SETTINGS (or SYSTEM AGAIN)

2. a) GOTO System
Select SYSTEM (to bring up settings menu)

3. Select Audio Output - here you can configure any audio option imaginable Change your settings according to your home audio setup example: 5.1 or 7.1 etc
Select Audio output  > Change settings according to your audio setup example 5.1 or 7.1 etc

4. If you have an Audio Receiver Enable pass through and select all of the audio codecs it decodes Enable passthrough (if you have an Audio Receiver)

4. a) select all the options your receiver decodes
Enable all the codecs your receiver decodes

 

if the above solutions do not help then try our other troubleshooting steps:

POWER CYCLE - unplug and replug the unit back in (this usually solves most 'weird' or 'unexplained' issues)

RE-SEED ALL CABLES (unplug and replug in cables) - making sure each cable is securely in place.

RESTART Your TV BOX

Try Changing TV INPUTS  (HDMI1 - HDMI2 etc)


Are you plugging this via a receiver or directly to your TV? (if receiver enable pass-thru)

Are you using HDMI or RCA? (just enable one or the other)

Maybe the Mute Button for the Streaming Device was hit accidentally (check options out on your ninja remote)

Try a different HDMI Cable and if that does not work try your TV's other HDMI input ports.

TRY Removing ALL USB Dongles
(the small USB plug that receives signal from your wireless keyboard) and using the default remote

AGAIN POWER CYCLE - unplug and replug the unit back in (this usually solves most 'weird' or 'unexplained' issues)
