Do you want to know how to configure your Video Output on your NINJA BOX?
Having problems with resolution or is some of your picture cut off due to over scan?
Just want to know how to finely tune your Video settings and output in KODI & XBMC?
Well look no further!! You will find the answers to all of your Video settings related issues here:
1. from the main menu Select SYSTEM
1. a) Select Settings from the sub-menu
1. b) Select System (if you brought up this menu before selecting Settings from the sub-menu in the photo above)
2. a) Make sure Skill level is set to Expert to display ALL settings options
*** IT IS ADVISED NOT TO CHANGE ANY OTHER SETTINGS THEN THE ONES WE HAVE GUIDES UP FOR - SOMEONE THAT DOES NOT KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING CAN RENDER THIS UNIT NON FUNCTIONING - REQUIRING A NINJA WIZARD RESET ***
2. b) Make sure NOT to select the video option shown in the following picture and select the proper one at System > Video output
3. Select Video output - then set your resolution and any other video settings
3. b) Enable 3D if you have a 3D display and 3D content to play
THATS IT YOUR DONE YOUR BASIC VIDEO SETTINGS SETUP!!
Troubleshooting display sizing and screen cut off issues
4. If your display is cut off due to overscan like the following image then you need to Select and begin Video calibration...
4. a) Select Video calibration... - then begin calibrating your screeen size / overscan in openelec with kodi
4. b) Start calibration use your LEFT RIGHT UP DOWN arrows on to move the blue brackets to fit in your screen
4. c) Continue Calibrating use your LEFT RIGHT UP DOWN arrows on to move the blue brackets to fit in your screen once youve lined it up press ENTER
4. d) Finish up calibrating LEFT RIGHT UP DOWN arrows on to move the blue brackets to fit in your screen and once youve aligned everything press ENTER
4. e) Make this square as perfect as you would like, we find 1.000 works best for us, but every display is different. Once you have it aligned as you like press ENTER
4. f) Set the location of where you would like SUBTITLES to be displayed. Once you have it aligned to where you want press ENTER then ESC to bring you out of the calibration screen
Simple as that and your kodi or xbmc overscan issues are resolved
